Cape Fear River At Elizabethtown affecting Bladen County. ...The Flood Warning continues for the following rivers in North Carolina... Cape Fear River At William O Huske Lock And Dam 3 affecting Bladen and Cumberland Counties. Lumber River Near Lumberton affecting Robeson County. * WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast. * WHERE...Cape Fear River at William O Huske Lock And Dam 3. * WHEN...Until further notice. * IMPACTS...At 47.0 feet, The access road for the wildlife boat ramp at Tar Heel Ferry Road may begin to flood. Lowland flooding along the river worsens along both sides of the river. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 9:00 PM EDT Wednesday the stage was 47.1 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to fall just below flood stage Thursday night before rising back above flood stage Friday night and continuing to rise to a crest of 47.2 feet early Sunday afternoon. - Flood stage is 42.0 feet. - weather.gov/safety/flood

Fog is technically a type of stratus cloud, which lies along the ground and obscures visibility.

It is usually created when humidity in the air condenses into tiny water droplets. Because of this, some places are more prone to foggy weather, such as regions close to a body of water.

Fog is similar to mist; both are the appearance of water droplets suspended in the air, but fog is the term applied to the condition when visibility is less than 1 km.
